A growing number of flag controversies are serving as accurate
indicators for what is taking place in Obama’s systematic transformation
of America.
Many Americans – including those who escaped to freedom from a ruthless communist regime – were disgusted by the rising of the Cuban flag over the new Cuban Embassy in Washington on Monday.
For those who fled the brutality of Castro’s regime, the rising of the Cuban flag is deeply offensive.
Does that sound familiar?
The Confederate flag was recently removed from South Carolina state
grounds for being deemed “offensive” even though, for many, the flag
represents little more than southern heritage and pride.
Meanwhile, the American flag was sitting high atop its flag pole at the nation’s capitol while many Americans demanded it be lowered to half-mast to honor the servicemen killed in last week’s massacre in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
According to USAToday, crowds outside the Cuban Embassy were divided:
Monday’s events at the Cuban Embassy drew pro- and anti-Cuban protests.
Chants of “Viva Cuba” and “Viva Fidel” competed against those of “Free
Cuba” and “Cuba, forever socialist.” One man was arrested after throwing
a red paint bomb into a crowd.
Reaction from patriots on Twitter was another story. The rising of a
communist flag during this tumultuous time just added insult to injury,
and raw Americans vented their frustration:
