In the last few days the Democrats have been creating political turmoil since President Donald Trump signed the executive order for a temporary ban of aliens from seven countries to enter the US during the next 90 days strictly for national security reasons.
These Democrats decry that this presidential executive order is inhuman, un-american, unworthy of a US president and unbecoming of a government representing the American people. They should know that there is already a law approved and voted by the US Congress known as the McCarran-Walter Act of 1952 which gives the US president the authority to deny entry to aliens who are considered potentially dangerous to the security of the United States of America. Who were McCarran and Walter, the authors of this Immigration Act in 1952? Both were high ranking Democrats, McCarran was the late Democrat US Senator of Nevada and Francis Walter was the late Democrat US congressman from Pennsylvania. And who was the US President when this law was passed in 1952? It was the Democrat President Harry Truman.
These Democrats should also know that in 1979 the Democrat President Jimmy Carter invoked this McCarran-Walter Act to stop the entry of Iranians in the US as he found out that seven thousand of them were in violation of their visas. A total of 15,000 Iranians were deported from the United States in 1979 by President Jimmy Carter and none of the Democrats voiced their objection then.
The
first and foremost duty of the US President is to protect the security
of the American people, especially in the present times of widespread
unrest and violence by the murderous IS terrorists all over the world.
