Why Obama Refused To Say THIS

A former Obama State Department official explains why Obama refused even to say the words “radical Islamic terrorism.” He adds that even a tweet from the United States government “saying the Islamic State is a distortion of Islam is not going to hurt the group. Instead, it will help its recruiting.”

It always astounded me how many times the previous Administration bent over backward to keep from “inflaming” ISIS or al-Qaeda and “helping its recruiting.” They had to close Gitmo because it “helped their recruiting” (which nobody ever found any evidence to support.) They called obvious terrorist attacks "workplace violence." They couldn't even call radical Islamic terrorists by their right name for fear it would make them hate us more and do something even worse.

News flash #1: you can’t win a war when you’re afraid to acknowledge the motives of your enemy even in a tweet.

News flash #2: We’re talking about people who pledge to kill every last one of us; who behead journalists, set POWS on fire, force young girls into sex slavery, commit mass murder, blow up irreplaceable antiquities and chop the hands off children who refuse to murder their parents. If they could possibly think of anything worse, they would have done it already.
